Ryanair launches new Android app and it's not for free

At nearly $5 per download for the app, this is probably one of the cheapest things you can purchase on Ryanair.

Budget airlines are well known for charging passengers for everything from a packet of peanuts to a glass of water – with some even charging for a visit to the toilet.

And now low-cost carrier Ryanair has done it again – charging €3 for its latest app for Android smartphones.

While most airports and airlines provide their apps for free, Ryanair has taken a different route.
