Tallest hotel in Western hemisphere, a Marriott, tops off in NYC

The two-in-one-combo package of hotels will offer guests options to for long term stay, which for the address and location, should be a popular deal.

The 70-story, 371,000-square-foot Marriott, located at 1717 Broadway at 54th Street, has topped out...The $200 million project is the tallest stand-alone hotel in the Western hemisphere. It is over 750 feet in height and has a floor-to-area ratio of 30:1, among the highest ever achieved in New York City.

Two Marriott select service hotels will be housed within the structure and will become flagships for their brands – a 378-key Courtyard by Marriott on the lower floors, and a 261-key extended-stay Residence Inn on the upper floors.
