Google can capitalize on Apple maps launch's many early miscues. This ad, launched earlier this month before Apple's own launch, is a more upbeat one focused on the hard work Google has done over the year to become ubiquitous.
Google Maps, in a renewed push as Apple launches its maps app on its mobile platforms, has launched a new video ad “to celebrate all the places you can reach with Google Maps—all seven continents, the sky, the moon and even the depths of the ocean.”
The soundtrack, in case you’re wondering, is “Let’s Go Everywhere” by Medeski, Martin & Wood.
