    Michael Small, CEO of Gogo, the in-flight Wi-Fi provider, spoke with Atmosphere Research’s Henry Harteveldt about the digital habits of air travelers and what brands can learn from them.

    Small discussed Gogo’s diversification into satellite-based Wi-Fi to increase the territory over which it’s service can offer connectivity, but he mostly talked habits with Harteveldt. From the shift to more mobile phone usage (because seats are getting too cramped for laptops) to his lack of concern about in-flight calling (nobody needs to with texting) to his thoughts about charging for in-flight Wi-Fi (“most airlines like getting a check more than writing a check”).
