Four travel startups create a new way of connecting old networks

This week’s seedlings are not creating new marketplaces as much as building layers over existing or established networks.

They are finding smarter ways to connect boat owners and day-trippers, empty parking spots and frustrated drivers, and old friends. The key to creating a new way of connecting existing networks is faster, cheaper, or more efficient processes — something each of these startups aims at.
