Five travel startups connecting travelers on their journey

Travel is the collision of strangers. Those collisions can be as spontaneous as buying fruit in a marketplace or as intentional as couch-surfing.

This week’s SkiftSeedlings seeks to organize those collisions online via common interests and needs. Photographers finding a new shot, new travelers looking to avoid scams, and tourists looking for a local’s perspective could all use a little help finding one another. It’s up to the startup to create a trusted platform that’s both useful and fun.
