OLSET, a company that personalizes hotel recommedations for business travelers, announced today that it raised $500,000 in seed funding.
The round was led by Montage Ventures with participation from Plug & Play Tech Center, GVA Capital, XG Ventures, 500 Startups, and a number of angel investors.
The announcement comes two months after OLSET entered into its first partnership with calendar app Any.Do. Any.Do users can search through in-app personalized hotel suggestions based on their upcoming business trips. OLSET keeps track of users’ bookings and tailors its hotel suggestions based on user preferences and behavior.
Users can book the hotel directly within the Any.Do app, but the feature is available only on Android at this time.
OLSET also announced that the former president of Travelocity for Business Ellen Keszler and former general manager at TripAdvsior Giampiero joined its board.
