On the eve of Airbnb’s historic IPO, the company’s longtime advisor Chip Conley offered assurances that success would not spoil the homesharing giant in discussion with Skift Executive Editor Dennis Schaal during the Skift Short-Term Rental & Outdoor Summit on December 9.
“The company is a strong enough brand that there have been ways for us to expand the brand and expand the revenue,” said Conley.
He added: “There are plenty of opportunities for Airbnb to remain unique but grow mainstream.”
