    As the big sharing economy brands adapt their offerings to the managed travel market, barriers to use in the managed travel are coming down.

    Companies like Uber and Airbnb have shaken up all sectors of travel, and are now seeping into the managed business travel world as well.

    How are travel managers thinking through these big changes that are affecting them, and certainly being demanded increasingly by their employees?

    According to a survey report done by corporate travel giant Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s CWT Travel Management Institute, the barriers to use these type of sharing economy services in managed travel are coming down, which means travel managers are increasingly aware and looking to integrate these services, whether they like it or not.
