The majority of Americans drive to work alone every day. Only 10 percent carpool. And less than 5 percent walk or bike to work.
Millennials are leading the trend towards alternative transportation including bike and ride sharing programs. But today, the large majority of Americans still rely on their personal cars that produce 25 pounds of pollutants per every gallon of gas guzzled.
