The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) and HMSHost announced the opening of a new farmers market at O’Hare International. The new concession is inspired by the popular farmers markets offered throughout Chicago’s neighborhoods, offering fresh, locally-grown food and other healthy snacks to passengers and airport employees.
Until now, produce grown in O’Hare’s aeroponic garden was used exclusively by select HMSHost airport restaurants. Now passengers traveling through O’Hare can purchase fresh herbs conveniently packaged in to-go containers.
