Video: Interview With Air France CEO Anne Rigail at Skift Aviation Forum 🔒

  • Skift Take
Air France plans to keep in-flight meal service and first-class cabins on international flights despite making cuts to its flight network and seeking other operational efficiencies. Count on it. That’s the promise from CEO Anne Rigail.

Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France since December 2018, talked about the bold and drastic changes her team has made to the airline this year at Skift Aviation Forum.

Rigail said the carrier would take advantage of rare solidarity among stakeholders to optimize its network and streamline operations long-term. She said the changes would give her carrier more resilience when it exits the crisis.

Rigail said Air France had high hopes for airport testing for its international service. The carrier would continue to offer first-class service and meals on flights despite pullbacks at other carriers. For more on that interview with Skift Editor-at-Large Brian Sumers, read this story.
