Skift Forum Video: Behind JetBlue’s Strategy to Create a New Airline Business Model

  • Skift Take
JetBlue has the freedom to rethink how airlines can work in the modern era, and it’s not about to waste that advantage on old business models.

Marty St. George,  Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy at JetBlue, spoke last month at the Skift Global Forum.

St. George spoke with Henry Harteveldt of Atmosphere Research about whether or not there is room in the aviation world for a new kind of business model. “Leisure has been successful for us,” St. George told the audience. “I think one of the reasons is because the legacy (airlines ) walked away from it.”

Over the next three weeks, we will publish in full the presentations and interviews from the Forum. To follow along as they are added, bookmark this page.

St. George’s discussion with Harteveldt is in full, below.
