Ryanair has launched Ryanair Labs, an digital travel innovation hub based at its Dublin office campus in Swords. The airline will recruit 200 new staff in an effort to “change the online travel world,” as it proposes on its website.
Ryanair is seeking to fill a range of roles, including executive positions, in the areas of software development, data, QA and testing, UX and design and media positions, with a total of sixteen new positions open, including a Head of Mobile, Market Intelligence Analyst, UX Specialist, and Social Media Manager.
Robin Kiely, Head of Communications at Ryanair said of the new branch of the company:
“We want to change the world of online travel and we’re going to do that through Ryanair Labs, a state-of-the-art digital innovation hub.” Adding: “We’re proud to pay well to make sure we get and keep the best people and Ryanair Labs will offer the perks and culture of a start-up without the downsides.”
The airline has also launched a new dedicated website Labs.Ryanair.com to the Ryanair Labs program. Details of the new positions open are available on this site (one of which says that Skift is required reading). Ryanair aims to have filled all positions by December of this year.
