The next time you fly Delta at JFK or Atlanta, how about catching some rays and a drink al fresco while you are killing time and waiting for your next flight?
That should be possible in a few months as Delta is opening its first outdoor airport terraces at the Delta Sky Clubs in Concourse F of Atlanta Hartsfield’s new international terminal, and at Terminal 4 at JFK.
Delta is developing the new Sky Decks in partnership with Architectural Digest and designer Filicia, as the airline continues its media-happy partnership trend.
Earlier this month Delta announced a media partnership with AD owner Conde Nast, which will sell advertising on Delta websites and other properties.
The Sky Decks are geared to emphasize relaxation, elegance, and a chance to be outdoors in vacation mode with a chance to take advantage of the views.
The Sky Deck at JFK is slated to be the first to open in May.
