Exclusive French luxury cruise line bought by a sandwich chain

  • Skift Take
Prêt a Manger’s parent company has investments in many industries so the purchase of Compagnie du Ponant’s three-ship cruise line isn’t too far-fetched. No word on whether its all-inclusive price packages includes a sandwich-making station.

French ultra-stylish luxury line Compagnie du Ponant has simultaneously been bought by a sandwich chain and gone all-inclusive.

Private equity company Bridgepoint that owns Pret a Manger, the sandwich company, has bought the line, which operates just three ships.
