AccorHotels has found another company to buy. This time it’s Adoria, a catering technology company. Neither side put a price on the deal.
The acquisition will help with Accor’s expansion in the sector. In the last couple of years it has bought stakes in Potel & Chabot and Noctis, which it said offered “complementary growth opportunities” to its existing travel and hospitality businesses.
Adoria operates a software as a service platform for managing tendering, procurement, logistics and production in the catering industry.
Caroline Tissot, chief group procurement officer at AccorHotels, said: “This acquisition is in line with our strategy to acquire the most innovative and visionary players in their markets, in order to provide our customers and partners with an increasingly wide range of complementary services.
“Our aim will be to support Adoria’s international development, while simultaneously benefiting from its expertise and from a highly qualified team.”
