Concur buys business travel mobile tracking firm Contgo

  • Skift Take
As remote working and virtual offices become a bigger part of corporate world, makes sense for Concur to focus on mobile-first solutions like Contgo’s.

Concur, the travel and expense management company, has acquired UK-based Contgo which provides a mobile tracking and messaging solution for corporate travelers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Concur expects modest dilution to its expected non-GAAP operating margin range due to increased headcount with this acquisition.

Contgo adds various location-based services with mobile communications and messaging capabilities to Concur’s offerings, it said. Founders Henrik Conradsen and Johnny Thorsen will Concur in new senior management roles.

Concur has been active in the deals in corporate travel solutions space, with an investment fund focused on it and M&A when it makes sense. More information in release.
