Anthony Bourdain is in Tripoli, Libya right now, filming for his new CNN show “Parts Unknown” which is supposed to debut some time in spring this year. And as is his wont, he is tweeting his journey through, with succinct trenchant commentary mixed with photos of the destruction Tripoli and Libya went through during fall of Gaddafi.
The show, as the name suggests, promises to mix a bit of signature Bourdain travels with a bit of foreign policy/reporting mixed in, to places travel shows don’t usually go to. This is surely keeping in that vein.
