Despite the quality of its content, Executive Travel's infrequent publication and poor digital presence meant it played a small role in the fast-moving world of frequent travelers.
Talking to users should be easy for travel media brands, but a few have managed to dominate the conversation (like LP and Travel Channel) while others surprise despite their size (like Fathom).
2014 will be an interesting year with this bunch, that's for sure. We're only 16 months into this game...

Not much of a shocker, such is the state of the legacy magazine business these days.
This is a bigger deal inside the halls of Conde than out, but it points to a willingness to rethink the brand and for that we're thankful.
While there is some value in TTG as the first weekly travel trade publication in the world, launched in 1953, digital hasn't been kind to the company or the sector is operates in. Hopefully this management structure gives it more flexibility to revive and thrive.
