Skift Take
Come hear the best talks on the future of travel and come help define the future of travel, at Skift Global Forum 2015.
We are five weeks away from the largest creative business conference in the travel industry, the Skift Global Forum 2015.
We are in the final stages of planning for the Forum at Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, on Oct 14-15 in New York City. The tickets *WILL* sell out for the Forum, so grab them soon!
All the amazing speakers and topics have been set. The pre-conference evening event on Oct 13th has been finalized and if you are attending you will get the details this week. The mobile app for attendees will launch next week, which will offer easy ways for everyone to network with one another.
We are also working on the launch of our second Skift Magazine at the Forum, following our first Megatrends magazine launch at the start of the year. The Skift Magazine Issue 2 — available exclusively to the Forum attendees at launch — is a forward look at the big fault lines which will define the coming future of travel industry. The core of the magazine will be a package of essays called “Versus” where we juxtapose some central conflicts in travel to consider.
We also recently announced our exclusive media partnership with CNBC, where CNBC will be the exclusive broadcast partner of the Forum. CNBC’s Simon Hobbs will report live from the two-day conference and feature live interviews during the channel’s Business Day programming and on CNBC.com.
Some of the featured speakers include:
- Sally Balcombe, CEO of VisitBritain
- Edie Rodriguez, President and CEO of Crystal Cruises
- Ivanka Trump, Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for the Trump Organization
- Paul Hennessy, CEO of Priceline.com
- Kevin Shinkle, Chief Communications Officer of Delta Air Lines
- Jonathan Mildenhall, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Airbnb
And many thanks for the sponsors making the Skift Global Forum possible: Adobe, American Express, Boxever, CendyneOne, Cheapoair, Criteo, Gogo, HelloGbye, Hornblower Cruises, MasterCard, Mindtree, NewsCred, SiteMinder, Travel Channel, TurkeyHome, Uber, Underline, Virtuoso, and Yahoo.
