JetBlue Airways Corp. on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $152 million.
On a per-share basis, the Long Island City, New York-based company said it had profit of 44 cents.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 44 cents per share.
The airline posted revenue of $1.61 billion in the period, also meeting Street forecasts.
JetBlue shares have climbed 41 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 96 percent in the last 12 months.
