Turkish Airlines is milking the stars' endorsement for all its worth and setting itself up for some very high milestones with the duo's next ad.

Turkish Airlines is taking advantage of the buzz of its viral hit The Selfie Shootout starring brand ambassadors Lionel Messi and Kobe Bryant by turning the video into an iPhone app.

In the commercial, Messi and Kobe travel the world to one-up the other’s latest selfie.

The new app Selfshot App lets users take virtual selfies with the same destinations as those featured in the ad.

Users are encouraged to share the images on social media and the photo. The most “Likes” will win a roundtrip ticket from the airline.

The ‘Selfie Shootout’ ad was produced in December 2013 to recreate the viral magic of Turkish Airlines’ first Kobe and Messi ad “Legends on Board.”

Shoutout succeeded in besting the previous ad and has attracted almost 30 million more views. The original ad with Messi and Kobe can be viewed below:
