California's new ad focuses on accomplished Californians outside of the well-known celebrities and appeals to visitors' desires to visit a place that makes them want to achieve more, or just feel famous for a few days.

Visit California shows some pride for its well-accomplished residents in a new ad campaign that’s set to air across the U.S. and UK.

Visit California announced today at the World Travel Market that its new “Dreamers” TV commercial will start airing in the UK in late December. The ads started airing across the U.S. in late October.

Each of the ad’s 16 scenes stars a different California celebrity and location. This includes singer Sara Bareilles near the Hollywood Sign, William Shatner at Paramount Studios, Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh-Jennings at Venice Beach, and pro skater Bob Burnquist at Lake Tahoe.

Visit California will also air a family travel ad released in March in the UK from late December to February. Watch both Visit California ads below:
