Skift Take

Who knew Idaho could be so much fun? Getting a little goofy is the best way a destination with a less than polished reputation can catch the eye of younger travelers.

The Idaho Department of Commerce Division of Tourism has launched its 2013 spring/summer marketing campaign, My ID, continuing the campaign it launched last year, which is designed to highlight the state’s scenic beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities in an entertaining, interactive way on its website.

The campaign invites visitors to place themselves, family, and friends in any of seven Idaho online adventure videos.  Four videos are currently available, with the rest appearing in coming weeks. The initial four are “The Adventurers,” a superhero-themed video; “Agent 208,” a spy adventure; “Are We There Yet?” a family RV trip; and “Adventures in Loving,” a romance-themed video.
