Travelport, whose technology allows travel agents to search for and compare airfares, wants to bring new allegations against American but says the airline’s bankruptcy is preventing it from doing so. American, through its parent AMR Corp. (AAMRQ), says the problem isn’t with its bankruptcy but instead with Travelport’s attempt to fight back with claims that it should have brought months ago.
The issues involved in the American Airlines case have been brewing for YEARS. It’s high time that a court decides these antitrust issues.
