Richard Branson calls the prospect of buying American Airlines “quite fun”

During an interview with NPR today to promote his book, Like a Virgin, Virgin mastermind Richard Branson took a question about possibly buying American Airlines.

“We don’t normally buy other companies or merge with other companies,” Branson answered. “Having said that, it would be quite fun to do something with American Airlines. If anyone from American is listening we’d be happy to get your call.”
