W Hotels headed to Central America for the first time with 50-story W Panama
Skift Take
The move is as much an endorsement of Panama City's emergence as the region's hub for growth as it is the W's ambitions to spread its form of hotel style to new international markets.
W Hotels Worldwide recently announced it has signed an agreement with Evolution Tower Corp, a joint venture between F & F Properties and EFC Group Inc., to debut the W Hotels brand in Central America.
Slated to open in early 2016, W Panama will be part of the 50-floor Evolution Tower, a mixed-use building, including premium office space, located in the heart of the city’s financial district.
