The videos would be more interesting if they looked a little more like reality TV and and a little less like a campaign ad disguising itself as an "insider's sneak peak."

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is pulling back the curtains on their luxury hospitality business, and giving guests a sneak peak at what goes on inside the hotel in a new video series entitled ‘The Art of The Craft.”

The new digital video series, which is accessible via the hotel’s YouTube channel and website, focuses on a different individual from one of the Ritz-Carlton properties around the world, exploring who they are, what they do, and capturing all the ins and outs of their role in the organization.

The motive behind the videos? It’s all about adding to the experience of travel, said Herve Humler, president and chief operations officer of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
