Mapping is always improved with on-the-spot and nearly real-time updates. And although users are really helping Google, they're at least helping themselves improve a free service.

You can now share your Google Maps edits and reviews with people connected to you on Google+, the Google Maps team just announced … on Google+.

That basically means people can now share from Map Maker – which is a crowdsourcing initiative that lets users improve and enrich Google Maps – to their Google+ circles.
