[Tampa Bay & Co, the tourism authority in Tampa] designed a comprehensive marketing initiative that ensures we capitalize on the valuable exposure that comes with hosting the RNC. This campaign features placements in in-flight magazines expected to reach more than 6 million readers, as well as the hiring of a national public relations firm to implement a communications program. The program includes six national and international media visits, the development of infographics with key Tampa Bay-area messages, placements in national publications and a national media tour.
