Skift Take

High time such tech comes into play, nice touch by enabling it online & on mobile.

Washington Dulles International Airport became the first U.S. airport to display real-time wait times at its security checkpoints, where monitors show the estimated time to clear the east and west checkpoints. The info is also provided on airport’s website, which is mobile-friendly for users to check.

The technology was designed by French company Blue Eye Video. It uses video recognition analytics to constantly measure the number of people in line & those completing the security, and generates wait times based on that data.
