Yelp has announced a few new social features for users logged into its homepage, according its official blog. The subtle changes to the layout highlight actions from your social connections on Yelp instead of more general location information. You’ll be more likely to see photos and tips uploaded by friends, events they’re going to, and your most recent check-in locations. Any “useful,” “funny,” or “cool” votes that your reviews have gotten recently will also be displayed on your homepage. The rollout is scheduled to take place over the next two weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for even more of your friends’ eclectic dining tastes.
