Not a bad idea by OpenTravel, although it would be ironic if co-sponsor Sabre imparts advice to startups when it has tried to crush at least a couple that stood in its way.
OpenTravel is pleased to announce its first Travel Traction, an event to provide industry knowledge to startups and new entrants in travel.
“Because OpenTravel is a neutral and independent body, we constantly get questions on every conceivable topic about the travel industry, from startups, companies looking to break into the industry or individuals sizing up an opportunity,” says Valyn Perini, CEO of OpenTravel. “Travel Traction is our way of formalizing our responses and providing a forum for industry innovators and industry experts to come together and learn from each other.”
