India's airline industry is in massive flux right now, and a two-month strike didn't improve the situation for consumers or airlines. Whether or not this allows the industry some breathing space remains to be seen.

Air India’s striking pilots Tuesday assured the Delhi high court that they would call off their 58-day agitation immediately.

Appearing for the pilots, senior advocate Geeta Luthra told justice Reva Khetrapal that the pilots would immediately call off the strike and join their respective AI pilots to consult lawyers before calling off their strike duties within 48 hours.
