Latin American airline groups LAN and TAM have finally completed their historic merger, creating a single powerful group which accounts for about one-third of total capacity in the fast-growing South American market.
The merger also has global implications for the alliances as Star, oneworld and SkyTeam await Latam’s formal selection.
