Public transit directions are left out of new iOS 6 maps

Apple’s non-Google map solutions don’t have a solid transit solution yet, so the company has opted to not include them in iOS 6 at launch.

Theres a ridiculous amount of misinformation spreading online about the new maps in iOS 6, compounded by incorrect press reports, vague statements by Apple, and the developer NDAs… Using information provided to me by an anonymous Apple developer, Ive pieced together the facts.
