The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that U.S. airlines carried 53.1 million scheduled domestic and international passengers in February 2012, 6.4 percent more domestic passengers and 4.4 percent more international passengers than in February 2011.
