This Priceline Group's acquisition of Rocketmiles would be a small one, but could be additive to the group's hotel business.

The Priceline Group will acquire Rocketmiles for around $20 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Rocketmiles has partnered with airlines around the world and enables customers to book hotels and earn airline miles, and the move would  likely spur incremental hotel bookings for the Priceline Group.

Founded late 2012, the Chicago-based startup raised about $8.5 million in total funding.

The Priceline Group hasn’t confirmed the acquisition and didn’t address the acquisition during its fourth quarter earnings call this morning. Rocketmiles didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
