The best branded holiday videos not only delight customers, but highlight employees' efforts to make the surprise and service available year-round.

After WestJet’s viral holiday hit, travel brands across every sector have been upping their cheer-spreading game. Here are five of the best holiday-themed ads we’ve seen pop up this month.

Airlines often invest the most effort in their holiday surprises. Iberia’s spin on this included a creative video that showed a Santa balancing on top of the plane that then turned into an actual Santa inside the cabin. Children were shocked and adults delighted as the Santa handed out presents to passengers.

Like a scene straight out of Love Actually, Air Baltic captures the moment when family and friends are greeted at the airport. The airline put added an extra element of fun to the reunion by having those in the pick-up area send a photo “welcome” to passengers while they were still departing and picking up their bags.

Hyatt Hotels captures the atmosphere at its social customer service center during a two-day period during which employees surprised more than 200 guests with room upgrades and extra amenities.

EasyJet brings cheer onboard its usually cramped planes with Christmas carolers, orange Santa hats, and group sing-a-longs. EasyJet actually set a Guinness World Record for the highest altitude carol concert with its holiday stunt. The video shows carols in many European languages across several flights.

The Peninsula Hong Kong shares a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to turn the luxury hotel into a winter wonderland with a life-size gingerbread house and mini train set. The video is a nod to the staff members across the travel industry that bring travelers’ holiday visions to life.
