Festicket undoubtedly faces stiff competition as concert-goers seeks accommodations, but working with the music festivals themselves undoubtedly is a plus.

Festicket, a London-based startup that offers travel packages for music festivals, apparently struck the right note with investors and secured $2.7 million in a Series A round led by Wellington Partners and PROfounders Capital.

The startup works with music festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Europe and Leeds & Reading, and offers travel packages that include concert tickets and hotel rooms, for example.

Founded in 2012, Festicket’s total funding to date is $3.4 million, says CEO Zack Sabban.

The company plans on using the new funding to boost international expansion, expand its team, and further develop its platform.

Also participating in the Series A round were previous seed investors Windcrest Partners, Playfair Capital, KIMA Ventures, and Jacques-Antoine Granjon.
