This video below from Montreal based filmmaker Guillaume Blanchet does just that. Titled “Bounce,” it follows the two-year long journey of Blanchet in various places around the globe, all while bouncing his football, freestyle.
This is a bit reminiscent, though not as self indulgent, as the recently famous Epic selfie travel video that went viral earlier this year, online and all over media as well.
No wonder football is the most popular sport on earth : everyone can play, even me. For two years now, I’ve been lucky enough to travel in various countries with a ball as a faithful companion. Along this great journey, it has experienced sand, grass, concrete and snow. It has also bounced back to me after hitting many walls. Cheers to the greatest game of all.
