Swiss Fights Allergens, Claims a First and Woos Sensitive Flyers

Swiss is certifiably committed to fighting allergens in its aircraft, and this makes good health and business sense. It’s nothing to sneeze about.

If you suffer from allergies, Swiss Air may be the carrier for you.

The international carrier is the first airline to be certified as “allergy-friendly” by the Berlin-based European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation.

Swiss Air says in a written statement that is it is committed to minimizing the presence of allergens “within its cabin and lounge environment, particularly in upholstery materials, air conditioning or certain food items.”
