Swiss Fights Allergens, Claims a First and Woos Sensitive Flyers

If you suffer from allergies, Swiss Air may be the carrier for you.

The international carrier is the first airline to be certified as “allergy-friendly” by the Berlin-based European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation.

Swiss Air says in a written statement that is it is committed to minimizing the presence of allergens “within its cabin and lounge environment, particularly in upholstery materials, air conditioning or certain food items.”
