Sydney Airport recorded its busiest year in 2013, rounding it off with a lift in passenger traffic in December.

In a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, the airport said it served 37.9 million passengers in the calendar year, a lift of 2.6 per cent compared with 36.9 million in 2012. In December 2013, passenger traffic lifted by 3.5 per cent to 3.4 million, compared with 3.3 million in December 2012.
