Southwest To Keep Free DISH Programming On Flights For the Rest of 2014

Southwest customers celebrate the news that TV is now free onboard compliments of DISH by showing off their free iPads. Southwest Airlines


Southwest Airlines and DISH announced Thursday that the free programming offered on Southwest flights will continue being free through the end of 2014.

“By extending our partnership with Southwest we are able to give their customers a sample of what DISH customers experience on a daily basis, their favorite TV programs, anytime, anywhere and at no additional cost, simply the best mobile TV experience,” Moorhead said.

The two companies launched the promotion in July 2013. At that time, neither would say how long it might remain free.
