United Was Only U.S. Airline Without Unit Revenue Increase In September
Virgin America, JetBlue, Spirit, Southwest, Allegiant, US Airways and Delta are on a roll, but United, which took a beating by competitors in China in September, still hasn’t turned things around.

Only the largest U.S. carrier, United Airlines, reported that its revenues per available seat mile flown was flat last month compared to September 2012.
Low-fare carriers did better than the legacy carriers, but everybody but United was up.
