Lower Change Fees Are Now Included in Airlines’ Bundled Packages

North American airlines, some of which earlier this year hiked their change fees to $200 for domestic tickets and $300 for some international destinations, have been gradually introducing some flexibility into their fare structures, enabling customers to buy protection from change fees.
Some airlines have long provided such protection or have charged no change fees at all, while others have embraced such policies more recently.
