Oxford Adds ‘Space Tourism’ to Online Dictionary

Oxford Dictionaries Online is frequently updated to include trending words and capture cultural phenomenons. It’ll take widespread space tourism, on the scale of standard aviation today, to earn the term its spot in Oxford’s historic dictionary.

“Space tourism” is now “buzzworthy,” at least according to one prominent dictionary.
The newly-added entry describes “space tourism” as “the practice of travelling into space for recreational purposes.”
