Google‘s ever-expanding empire of technology products has grown to include everything from tablets to wearable computers to self-driving cars, but right now the company’s bottom line still hinges on advertisements.

To that end, Google has introduced an updated version of its Google Maps app to include what many consider the Holy Grail of mobile advertising: local advertisements.
